Newborn Portraits Done in Your Home and Baby's Nursery

You put a lot of thought and planning into your baby's nursery! Why not invite your favorite newborn photographer into your home to create some truly personalized images of your newborn.

As a studio and location photographer, I am equipped to photograph using natural light or, if needed, I bring along artificial lighting to supplement when needed. Normally you would want to use a neutral colored room where the light is soft and flooded with indirect sunlight that keeps it well lit throughout the morning hours when babies are most content. If this describes the nursery, great! If not, another room that fits this description can be used.

For family sessions inside your home you will have the chance to interact and snuggle with your baby. Candid moments are always nice but rest assured, I will work with you to capture just the right angles so you look your best.

Soft and neutral colors are always best for your newborn session. Whether your baby is a boy or girl, you will want to select soft and neutral colors that really compliment the soft sweetness of the baby. I have a wide selection of wraps that I bring along for the baby so you don't need to worry about planning for that.

I always allow plenty of time for feeding and snuggles so you never need to feel rushed. This session is all about celebrating the beautiful new life you created.

Newborn sessions are best done around 7 to 10 days after the birth of your baby. Should time slip by and you miss that window, never fear. I can promise you I am experienced in photographing babies of all ages. The session may just take a little longer.

I invite all of my clients to inquire about my NEWBORN GIFT REGISTRY. Friends and family members can purchase gift certificates in any amount that can be applied towards your newborn and first year sessions.

I offer packages that can include digitals and/or professional prints. Please inquire about all the details.
